Students donate to Alyssa’s Angels
Shore Regional Student Council members presented a $2,000 check to Alyssa’s Angels at a recent Board of Education meeting. The money raised is from the Student Council’s fundraising efforts ear-marked for charitable organizations in the community.
Alyssa’s Angels is a non-profit organization raising funds to build a barrier free playground on the Conway Park site in West Long Branch. Working with the Recreation Commission of West Long Branch, the organization’s goal is to build a playground for ages 2-12 where children with various capabilities can play together, using equipment without limits.
