On Christmas Eve 2001 Kendal was born with Spinal Bifida, which was further complicated, by clubfeet and hydrocephalus. At 2-1⁄2 years old she had been through four (4) surgeries, weeks of being casted and countless pieces of custom made braces.
These braces are needed to help correct her clubfeet and provide stabilization for her full leg so she can learn to walk with the assistance of a walker.
Kendal’s mom contacted Alyssa’s Angels to request help with the co-pay for her new custom braces. Her wish came true when Alyssa’s Angels granted her $1200.00.
