lyssa's Angels was founded in May 2004 in honor of Alyssa Cantaffa. Alyssa was born perfectly healthy. At three weeks of age she developed a cough that changed her life. Alyssa had an illness called Pertussis also known as whooping cough. Her doctors gave her a fifty percent chance of living. It is a true miracle that she is alive today. This illness has left Alyssa mentally and physically challenged.
